Victim Formally Identified
Authorities have officially identified the deceased victim as Phillip Devon Monte Sheppard Jr., 19, of the local area. Sheppard Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after gunfire erupted at approximately 1:20 a.m. near the Intendencia and South Palafox Street corridor, despite life-saving CPR efforts initiated by responding officers.
The six remaining victims—ranging in age from 16 to 26—continue to recover from their injuries at local medical facilities. Law enforcement officials confirmed that all six are currently expected to survive the targeted attack.

As of Tuesday morning, no suspects have been formally detained or booked into the Escambia County Jail in connection with the homicide.
Because hundreds of witnesses were packed onto the streets when the panic ensued, the Pensacola Police Department is making an urgent appeal to the public.
